Welcome

My name is Raymond Goeser, and I am an aspiring entrepreneur. I have, for the past several years, toyed with the idea of building a prototype of an Iron Man suit and I have sketched plans for such a suit. In the last year I have been designing a prototype of this Iron Man-like suit. I foresee many uses for a suit like Iron Man's, such as in the military, police and fire, and exploration. I know that much of what Stark's suit is capable of doing is not within our technological grasp. But, I feel that at its very basic function, a suit like this could be a reality. And I want to help see that come true.

It has been a dream of mine to be part of a major change in the world. And from what I have researched, if a suit were built similar to Stark’s it could potentially change how we protect ourselves completing dangerous jobs. I know the military is currently working on an exoskeleton similar to the Iron Man suit, but I think that a suit like this would have a better chance of becoming a reality if one’s target consumer were the police, fire and emergency departments, and exploration. Although most technology of this caliber either originates or is created for military use, I feel that at this point in time creating this technology for security, rather than military uses, would be more tangible.

I am by no means an expert, in fact I should probably give a little more information about myself. First off I’m twenty one. I have been designing things my whole life. When I was twelve I created rudimentary designs for solar shingles. At fourteen I designed roads that could both charge street lights and the cars that drove over them and I also drew up sketches for a hover board. When I was fifteen I was passionate about boats and designed a self-sufficient sail boat that would charge all the electronics onboard using solar, water, and wind power. I designed synthetic muscle tissue when I was sixteen that used small controlled electrical charges that would contract a silicon-like substance. And at seventeen, I created prosthetics whose movements were stimulated by neurological electrodes that picked up on muscle impulses. These are just a few of the many things I have designed on my own without prior knowledge that any of these technologies were actually being developed, and now some have been created and are functional.

I went to school for Renewable Energy Engineering, but realized that I am more of a designer than a practical engineer. I definitely like to create something in my mind and see if I can put it on paper. But as much as love to sketch and design I would love to be able to show something other than lead on tree pulp. It would be a dream of mine to see my cognitive work become a tangible, touchable, functioning piece of technology. I am currently striving for degrees in marketing, music production, and computer animation. Although being successful in any of these areas would be a goal of mine, it would be fantastic to get my project off the ground.
